04 Aug A JESUIT ON THE COMMISSION OF STUDY ON THE DEACONATE OF WOMEN.

Pope Francis has established a “Commission of Study on the Diaconate of Women” and two members of the Pontifical Gregorian University community have been named to the commission:

President of the commission is a Jesuit priest, Archbishop Luis Francisco Ladaria Ferrer, Secretary of the congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and a Gregorian alumnus and former faculty member. Also named to the commission was Professor Michelina Tenace, Director of the Department of Fundamental Theology at the Greg.
