Students from around the world attend the three Jesuit institutions of higher learning in Rome. They come from all walks of life, including lay women and men, priests and religious. Many cannot afford to pay the full cost of their stay. No scholar should be denied an education in Rome due to financial need.
Pope Francis has authorized the Gregorian University Foundation to use his name for an innovative program that meets the pressing and long-term needs of these students.
In the Jesuit tradition of excellence, our students receive a rigorous Catholic formation in a wide range of disciplines. In Rome they develop a network of friends and colleagues extending all over the world and lasting a lifetime.
These young leaders return home filled with energy to build the Church in their native lands. Inspired by Pope Francis, they bring an extraordinary sense of service to the universal Church.
