Presenter: Rev. Michael P. Hilbert, SJ

 

Rev. Michael P. Hilbert, SJ is the associate pastor of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, New York, NY.  Fr Hilbert earned a bachelor’s degree in sacred theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He went on to specialize in canon law, receiving a doctorate with honors and is Emeritus Professor of Canon Law.  Most recently he was President of the Fondazione La Gregoriana in Rome and is Trustee Emeritus of the Gregorian University Foundation. During his years in Rome, he was a professor of canon law, dean of the faculty, Academic Vice-rector of the university, and judge on various church tribunals.
