Presenter: Laura Ieraci, MS PhL
Laura Ieraci is a multiple award-winning journalist and the current editor of ONE, the magazine of Catholic Near East Welfare Association. In her 20-plus years as a Catholic journalist, she has worked for Vatican Radio and the Rome bureau of Catholic News Service; as editor of Horizons, the newspaper of the Byzantine Eparchy of Parma; as assistant director of communications for the Archdiocese of Montreal and news editor of Catholic Times Montreal. She has taught college courses in media ethics and Catholic social teaching, as well as professional development workshops with the Dicastery for Communication. She also founded AVIVA Ministries, through which she offers workshops and financial counseling to engaged and married couples. She has studied at McGill University, Concordia University, Ithaca College and the Pontifical Gregorian University. She is a Salesian Cooperator and is active in the pastoral work at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Whiting, Indiana, where her husband is the pastor.
