Dear Partners in Mission,

Welcome to the Gregorian University Foundation website. We work in support of the best kept secret in the Church: the Jesuit Higher Education Consortium in Rome.

From St. Ignatius, founder of the Pontifical Gregorian University (originally known as the Roman College) in 1551 to His Holiness Pope Francis, the three Consortium schools form the men and women who will serve and lead the universal Church as priests, religious and lay ministers in over 150 countries.

If you do not know us, please visit . . . come and see who we are. To our friends, alumni and benefactors, thank you. We would not be able to serve the Church without your generosity and prayers.

We hope you will find it in your heart to support the students and faculties of the Jesuit Higher Education Consortium. The Superior General and the Holy Father have designated the Consortium institutions collectively as one of the most important apostolates in the world for the Society of Jesus. It is easy to imagine how your gift could have a tremendous effect on the universal Church and its future — one scholar at a time.

Sincerely in Christ,

Rev. Alan J. Fogarty, SJ
